Dreams feel real while we’re in them.

Some nights she lies awake, proud of all the steps she’s taken. Staring at the ceiling with a smile on her face, amazed at how much she accomplished on her own. And she sleeps soundly, knowing she’s in a great place and she did it on her own.

Then there’s nights she lays awake for hours, missing what once was. Wondering how things got so bad, wishing life was different. Staring at the ceiling with tears in her eyes, regretting so much and guilty for feeling such sorrow. Though she knows deep down she made the right choice, there are nights it haunts her.

Oh what a way to live.

  1. That sounds like you are torturing yourself, but then ask yourself if he’s sleep as gotten disturbed in anyway and only than you’ll realise that you are wasting precious time and sleep for nothing.
    Take courage ✊
