One of my favorite aspects of blogging has always been the connections I continually make through out the site. From finding random blogs to read to stumbling across someone going through the same things in life as I am. The possibilities are endless.
Today’s assignment: follow five new topics in the Reader, and begin finding blogs (and bloggers) you love.
The first blog I clicked on was in the you may like section and is called Positive Outlooks. I figured I may like it considering I could always use more positive in my life and also considering what I have been going through lately. As soon as I opened the page this was the first thing I saw
“If someone wants you in their life, they’ll make room for you. You shouldn’t have to fight for a spot. Never, ever insist yourself to someone who continuously overlooks your worth.” — Unknown
Well that my friend is something worth following, especially since that is exactly how I feel.
Then, also in the you may like section, I clicked on a blog called The Monsters in Your Closet. Something about the name drew me in. I can’t say that I immediately connected but I did find a few posts I felt I had to read. Now following.
I decided to check my comments and a Michelle W had commented on my last zero to hero post. So of course I had to pay her site a visit. After reading her post about her rite-aid discovery I had to follow because she made me laugh. Well done fellow blogger.
And then there were four.
Again in the you may like section… A Clown On Fire. I know ahead of clicking that I hate clowns but I wanted to give this fellow a try. Although it seems a number of posts feature some type of clown like picture, after reading the Read This First section I decided to follow. You can always unfollow later right?
And last! But not least!
Actually I’m done. My two year old is attempting to get me in front of the tv to watch Elmo with her. So I will, as I always do, find new blogs to follow and new people to connect with later. =)
